Momentum SMS Program

Sooba is an AI assistant for college students that you text. The Momentum SMS Program is how Sooba texts you: he replies when you text him, and he can send you a heads-up before events on your calendar.

Message Types

In the Momentum SMS Program, you may receive:

• Replies from Sooba when you text him
• Heads-ups before events on your calendar, if you opt in to them

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Most messages are replies to texts you send. If you opt in to heads-ups, you may also receive one before each event on your calendar.

Cost Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.

Opt-In Method

Texting Sooba’s number starts a conversation, and Sooba replies to the texts you send. Event heads-ups are separate: you opt in to them by checking an unchecked consent checkbox when you sign in with your phone number on the web, or later in your account. The checkbox is not pre-selected.

Consent Is Not Required

Consent to receive event heads-ups is not required to use Sooba. You can sign in and text Sooba without opting in to them.

Opt-Out Instructions

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You can also email support@momentum.study to opt out. We will confirm your opt-out and stop sending messages within 24 hours.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email support@momentum.study.

Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy Policy

Your use of the Momentum SMS Program is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number or SMS data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for delivering the Momentum SMS Program.
